FIDE Grand Prix - Moscow 2019



1st stage of FIDE Grand Prix series 2019.

2nd stage: Riga , Latvia ( 11-25 July ) -- 3rd stage: Hamburg, Germany ( 4-18 November )-- 4th stage:Tel Aviv , Israel ( 10-24 December )

16 players , Knock-out (or single-elimination) event in Central Chess Player's House, Moscow between 17 - 29 May, 2019

2 classical games: 100’ for 40 moves (50’/20+15’) and 30 seconds per move.

In case of a tie Tie-break rounds will be played : 2 games ( 25 minutes and 10 seconds ) . 2 games ( 10 minutes and 10 seconds ) if needed. 2 blitz games ( 5 minutes and 3 seconds ) if needed. If it’s still a tie an Armageddon game.
