Grand Chess Tour 2016 is an annual circuit of 4 major tournaments:

Sinquefield Cup ( 4th August - 16th September ) ( See Sinquefield Cup 2015 ) ,
London chess classic ( 8th - 20th December ) ( See London chess classic 2015 )
and two new Rapid and Blitz tournaments in Paris ( 7th - 13th June ) and Brussels ( 15th - 21st June )

9 players + 1 wildcard player ( Ding Liren for Sinquefield Cup , Laurent Fressinet for Paris tournament ) will participate.
