Amber Blindfold and Rapid Chess Tournament 2011
The 20th Amber Blindfold and Rapid Tournament Farewell Jubilee Edition in Monaco, March 11 - 24, 2011.
It will be will be the final edition of this event.
Every day four sessions will be played, two blindfold sessions and two rapid sessions. The rate of play is 25 minutes per game per player. With every move made in the blindfold games 20 seconds is added to the clock, with every move made in the rapid games 10 seconds is added.
Aronian (ARM) won with 15,5 points. Aronian also won the blindfold competition. Magnus Carlsen won the rapid competition.
